I shall describe a new public data base for large very high-resolution simulation
“Copernicus Complexio” (COCO) that we are building in Warsaw.
The database will include new, state-of-the-art BigData computing solutions, including:
fully scalable Impala data base and Apache Spark server system.
The new database engine will support SQL-compatibile queries
and will provide the public with a fast a reliable access to over 150 TB of simulation data,
including: particle data, mesh density and velocity fields, halo and sub halo catalogues, halo and subhalo merger trees,
Semi-analytic Galaxy catalogues.
