When the Universe was very young, it was filled with light left over
from the big bang. This light is still visible today, though it has cooled
to just a few degrees Kelvin, and it is known as the Cosmic Microwave
Background. I will discuss what this light has told us about our Universe,
and what we may soon learn as we are able to see it better.
