The ICG has an active schools outreach programme, regularly running free events and providing activities for school pupils and their teachers, both on campus at the university and on site at schools. All activities are delivered by fully-trained ICG researchers and University of Portsmouth physics students. In the 2014/15 school year, the ICG outreach programme engaged with nearly 4,000 school pupils (age 5 – 18) from over 100 different schools.
Further details about the ICG schools outreach programme can be found by clicking on the links below. If you require more information, or would like to make a booking, then please contact the ICG Outreach Officer, Dr Jen Gupta (jennifer.gupta ‘at’ port.ac.uk).
All Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation schools outreach activities are free for the school. The ICG schools outreach programme is supported by the South East Physics Network (SEPnet) and The Ogden Trust.
