Astronomy on Tap Portsmouth

We regret to announce that Astronomy on Tap Portsmouth is no longer running as of 2019.

Astronomy on Tap Portsmouth ran from 2017-18. Talks from local scientists in the areas of Astronomy & Cosmology with Quizzes & Games. You could come along, have a pint and learn some science in a local Portsmouth pub!

Astronomy on Tap Portsmouth was a popular series of events held every three months, each with a different theme. Each time there was also a quiz with space-themed prizes to be won, exciting activities, and opportunities to pose your burning questions about the Universe to astronomers and cosmologists from the University of Portsmouth!

Doors would open at 19:15, with the first talk starting promptly at 19:30. The events ended at the latest 22:30.

Events were ages 16+ and entry was free. Note that entry was on a first come first served basis due to limited capacity.
