Biography:
I am working with Dr. Daniel Thomas on investigating the stellar initial mass function using near infrared features in galaxy spectra. To do so I make use of data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey experiment MaNGA (Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory) and stellar population models.
I have previously worked on AGNs for my Masters project at Imperial and on open star clusters during two summer internships at the European Space Agency with the Gaia team.
